Stacy Montaigne AuCoin, LCSW

Stacy is an author, licensed counselor, poet, facilitator of workshops and retreats. Home for her is in the mountains, in creative exploration, in deep stillness, and good conversation. In 1995, she earned her MSW in clinical social work from Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton, MA. Based in Bozeman, Montana, she has worked with people and organizations throughout the country for many years.
In the last five years, she has explored the use of sound in meditation and healing. This exploration has led to the recording of meditation CDs, performances with symphony musicians, and a deepening intuitive understanding of healing and well-being. She explores creatively through watercolor painting, recording sound and rhythms in nature, and photographing images.
Stacy loves hiking and running in the mountains with her dog, Duchess; exploring dreams and having tea with her daughters; and traveling with and having long resonant conversations with her partner, David.
