Singing Bowls

Crystal Singing Bowls from Passages & Pathways on Vimeo.

Picture
Singing bowls have been around in Eastern cultures and used for meditation and healing for thousands of years, while Crystal Singing Bowls are a newer phenomena.  The sound--the vibration of singing bowls--helps break through the mind-chatter, distraction, stress, and numbness.  During meditations, the sound helps 'carry us' through the threshold into stillness. It's a great way to introduce people to meditation practice, and stillness.

When people encounter singing bowls, they are amazed to feel the sound vibration deep inside their bodies.  After all, the human body is composed of 70 percent water, the water vibrates inside the body. Meditation can shift you out of rumination and daily stress, and instead ground you in the present time experiential world, and allow you to open up more expansively.  This kind of perception shifting is healing.  It's like the kind of shift one feels when you go into nature and the stress begins to melt away. You can feel your connection to something bigger than your ego-self.  It's soothing, healing, and aligning!

Sound Healing Treatments or "Sound baths"

(During the pandemic, these are for individuals and greatly limited)
Picture
You can schedule individualized sound healing treatments with Stacy. You can also make appointments for small groups. Sound can gently carry us into stillness. In this stillness, which we so desperately need in our inner and outer worlds, we heal, we balance, we clarify, we release, we harmonize, we attune to our deeper Selves.
  • Relax on a comfortable massage table, with soft blanket for comfort and reassuring weight.
  • Focus on the sound and let it carry your awareness inward, into stillness, while Stacy plays the singing bowls just for you.
  • Absorb the pure sounds of crystal singing bowls and then a few minutes of silence afterwards for settling.
  • Journaling in longer sessions.  Helps client identify areas of focus, and process the session.
Three options:
  • 2 hour session, 1 hour and half session, or 1 hour session.
    • journaling/focusing meeting with Stacy before sound bath
    • guided meditation & Singing bowl sounding while lying down in comfort, with weighted blanket.
    • debriefing/journaling time after sound bath

Our Meditation CDs

We include a sneak peak at our second meditation CD, yet unfinished. Its first track, "Heart Strings: Playing from the Soul," we share in loving memory of our dear friend & beautiful cellist, Kris Williams. On this track, Kris Williams played her beloved cello. Greg Young played an inspired clarinet.

Stacy played the singing bowls. David's supportive presence was a beautiful catalyst. Thank you Peak Recording Studio in Bozeman.
